To celebrate the channel’s first anniversary, I review the sequel to the first game analised here: “Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line” or “Dragon Warrior II”. Known for popularising the idea of companions in JRPGs and catapulting the fame of the series that would lead to the huge popularity of “Dragon Quest III”… Has it aged as well as the original?

I made a promise if I reached 500 subscribers on my YouTube channel. In this new video, I explain it. I present the schedule of future videos, but I also want to hear your suggestions for a future video: the one I will make to commemorate 1000 subscribers. For this, I need you to comment on the video with the game you want me to review and, of course, anything you can do to share and promote the channel and reach that goal as soon as possible, will be appreciated.

Thank you to everyone for an incredible first year.

There is a before and after in JRPGs since FINAL FANTASY IV (1991). Its importance in design, narrative staging and influence does not escape many modern games and, of course, redefined one of the most important sagas in the history of videogames. In its legacy it has two particular sequels — INTERLUDE and THE AFTER YEARS — that did not have the same success: let’s talk about it.
